I went with my friend, and when we got there, their friendliness and warmth were what invited us in to try their food. Their daughter also helps run their food truck, and they are all amazing and so kind. NOW THE FOOD?! Their queso frito was definitely made perfectly and did not have the plasticky texture that many fritanga places have. It had a crispy outside, and the cheese was soft and super yummy. Their Gallo pinto was AMAZING—neither too dry nor too greasy—and their curtido was fresh and crunchy, which I love. Their carne was seasoned so differently from other fritangas, which I love because it definitely had me wanting more. ”

“ Came here looking for a Mexican food truck that used to be at this location and wound up getting some traditional Guatemalan and Nicaraguan food. Never had any of the 2 cuisines before, but it was delicious. Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned well along with the beans. Rice was a little dry but the Pico de gallo salsa helped it. The maduros were cooked to perfection and I’m a stickler for them, and the fried cheese was something I’ve never had before. It was savory but also has a hint of sweetness. Was refreshing with the meal. Overall the plate was $15 and left with half going home because of the amount of food. The guys who work here are very kind and the food came out fresh within 10 minutes. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, I will be coming back to get another fix soon. ”
